We are thrilled that /A\’s very own Lianne Laing will be joining us for the day! Lianne can be seen daily on the /A\ Morning show. An avid golf enthusiast and local celebrity Lianne will definitely add energy to our event.

Born and raised in Ottawa, Lianne has been a member of the /A\ Team since 1998 covering the sports beat from amateur athletes to the Ottawa Senators.

In addition to her hosting duties on /A\ Morning, Lianne also delivers a daily health and fitness segment, Today's the Day. Lianne knows a few things about the subject as a former Canadian elite gymnast. She was a provincial champion by age nine, and left the nation's capital in the early 1990s to attend the University of Massachusetts on a full NCAA gymnastics scholarship.

Lianne maintains a daily active lifestyle whether it's running, weight training, pilates, golf, tennis or skiing. It’s always great when the weather co-operates!

Lianne is the proud mother of two daughters and is involved with a variety of local charities. She sits on the board of the Snow Suit Fund of Ottawa, gives motivational speeches at high schools and sports forums, as well as emcees and participates in fundraising and community events.

We are delighted that Lianne will be supporting us in our golf tournament on June 2nd.
